Sandricourt has preserved a traditional 'English-style' approach to game shooting, with all birds released at the beginning of summer. While many of the historically famous French shoots either collapsed or adopted industrial practices (releasing birds every shooting day), Sandricourt remains the sole commercial shoot in France to offer this traditional experience.
This traditional pheasant management system results in strong and high-flying birds, set against the backdrop of deep valleys that present challenging targets ranging from 30 to 50 yards high.
Our gamekeepers work full-time throughout the year to ensure the highest quality drives. They oversee 9 pheasant pens, each offering 10 different spectacular drives. Their daily tasks include habitat management, whistle feeding, intensive dog training, and pest control, all of which contribute to maintaining a healthy bird population throughout the hunting season.
A dedicated team of beaters provides a substantial quantity of birds for each drive, while a team of pickers-up, equipped with retrievers, patiently waits to collect the game.
Gun hire, loaders, and cartridges are available upon request.
